Maid of Honour dress?

Hey guys

My best friend is getting married in the summer and she's asked me to be her maid of honour. She's letting all the bridesmaids choose their own dresses, as long as they fit the general theme of her wedding, which is pink and green and has a very 'English country' theme.

I'm looking for something with either a 50s or bohemian twist, and preferably something which is as far away from the standard 'strapless satin with a bow on it' bridesmaid fare as I can manage without looking bizarre.

Not much to ask, eh? Having a NIGHTMARE finding something; anyone got any ideas?

There was a John Rocha one that looked interesting but seemed a bit frumpy. Wish I could be more use!

I'd love to, but I'd imagine it would be pretty expensive.... if I'm wrong please correct me though!

Marina Aniseed; that's a lovely style, but I think perhaps something a little less 'busy' with the print. The bride's dress is French lace, so I think the bridesmaids' dresses would look better if they were a bit more simple.

There's some lovely dresses at http://www.etsy.com/ a lot of the stuff is homemade and sometimes they can custom make something in your size.
There's stuff located all around the world including France.

I've had a dress made by someone on ebay that was cheap.

I go with the Etsy suggestion too...they have some amazing stuff! I buy dresses and jewellrey off there all the time
