I think you are doing fine, but just don't let too much time pass (she might find someone else, or you might not bump into each other that often then). Ask for her number and if she fancies a cup of joe sometimes. It's just so you are among each other for once and can chat in peace about stuff. You will pick up if she's interested soon enough. Just make sure you have any means to contact her.

Facebook is king for sorting this kind of thing out! Add her as a friend and try sparking up a conversation through there. You should be able to gauge if she likes you back or not, and if you cant you could always give her a cheeky fb poke and see if she pokes back after a few days.

Don't put all your eggs in one basket though, some people are just generally friendly, especially at uni as everyone just talks to everyone, so her being quite chatty and nice doesnt necessarily mean she likes you..but then again she might do..who knows? facebook her!

You can then check her out a bit more. You can also see if she has any fit mates

Just keep on doing what you are, having random chats and things. She maybe just being friendly but she might be interested. Get to know each other as mates a bit.

You seem to be doing the right things, just keep talking to her, see if you have any mutual friends, so you can "bump" into each other. Add her to FB etc.

Some people are just friendly anyway, but whether she ends being a friend or something more, its all good practise. Dont get to intense right now, just enjoy getting to know her.
