tunic type dress thing

I'm not very good when it comes to fashion etc and never like trying new things - I stick to what I know.

However I've started a new job (I now get weekends off) meaning I may need more clothes for going out - smart/casual type things just for meeting up with mates etc

I quite fancy one of those dress/tunic type tops to wear with leggings or jeans but just don't know where to look without paying too much

Where does everyone look for sensible clothing ideas - I often find that magazines are too extreme!

Just to point out joe brown is more... Flowery type things. And dorothy Perkins have mass amounts!

I love Jane Norman! Although it's quite pricey. River Island is another good place, or New Look for cheaper stuff.
