Pick your brains

Our oldest child (5) has to go to school on thursday dressed as a character from the past OR the furture!

Says be prepared to travel in time as you go back to move boulders in the stone age and move forward in time to take part in the London Olympics 2012.

Sooooo any ideas?

Am happy to have a go at sorting out myself if not too complicated.

Send them as a Roman, it's pretty cheap to turn an old sheet into a toga.

well, shorts and a vest with a number pinned on, and he could be a 100 m runner, or he could be a roman with a toga, or an evacuee, with some long shorts, pulled up socks, and a little shirt and pullover,

Build a dinosaur costume and send him as a t-rex.

On another note, I dislike the phrase "pick your brains". People use this at work, too. I don't want anyone to "pick my brains". Not until I'm dead, anyway.

Sorry. I like some of these ideas, would a dinosaur be classed as a character?

Send them in a big blob of dribbling jelly, under the basis that they just left the primordial soup ;).
