Does anyone know where a good place to get a cheap desk from is? I looked on ikea and the reasonable ones start at about £75 and that's not including delivery charge.
This is just for my bedroom as I would like a bit like a study desk. In an ideal world something like this:
obviously the OTT styling is not necessary
function is the matter of the day. The desk I have for my room at the minute is just a bit too big. On the left you can see the size of the desk and on the right the space I have to play with. Really need some drawers or something.
Any suggestions? I had a look on freecycle and there isn't anything. I thought about trying to customise my desk but the fact it's too tall and more suited to an office environment or something I don't know, it's got paper shelves and everything. Would be good on it's own in an office room, but in my bedroom I can fit it, my bed, and one dresser, so some extra drawers are sorely needed!!
