Sandal-y things

I'm going on holiday in just over a week, where it's gonna be hot hot hot!
Other than the evenings and for a wedding I'm going to be at, I'm probably gonna want to wear something as airy as possible on my feets, but that has to be:
a) rugged enough for a variety of terrain (who knows where I'll be going)
b) comfortable enough to spend a full day in without ripping my feet to shreds

Looking for recommendations

Teva is supposed to be a good make, they do hiking sandals etc. They're quite pricey I think but are meant to be good quality and comfy

Get a move on then places like Primark and Peacocks are good for holiday stuff as you're likely not to wear the stuff again.

I'm banking on the predictions of this being an amazing summer coming true, so the amazing board shorts I bought (for a not-inconsiderable sum) WILL be worn again!
