Heehee, our rings have arrived, they're based on a design we saw on Ebay and got some custom made :)

    They are really lovely... my husband's wedding ring is almost identical but without the stones... titanium and two-tone... everyone comments on it!

    The next 4 months will go sooo fast :)

    Gem on far right of female ring, ain't scratch - its a bit of cotton or something, the rings were covered with them when they arrived. little bits of cotton fibire,

    Getting so excited now, i love how different they are, alot of people don't like them, as they're tradionalists thinking gold bands are the way to go,

    personally, i adore them, i orignally didn't want any stones but lolz n me found them and thought, WOW.

    haha, they are cool. You should have got hard metal rings out of tungsten carbide. A friend of mine has one, they are pretty tough :D

    thanks for the replies, Things in full swing now, even got a menu off


    STARTERS
    ~ Tomato and Basil Soup
    ~ Highland game terrine, onion and pear chutney, seasonal leaves, cumberland sauce, home-made oatcakes
    ~ Terrine of mediterranean vegetables, tomato confit, curried onions, and a pine nut salsa (V)

    MAIN
    ~ Breast of Guinea Fowl wrapped in Ayrshire bacon, with grape and red onion chutney
    ~ Fillet of Sea Bass on a bed of mango cous cous with a basil cream
    ~ Wild Mushroom & Goats Cheese Filo Parcel served on seasonal salad and a pesto oil (V)

    DESSERT

    ~ Triple Chocolate Terrine served with white chocolate sauce & mint sorbet
    ~ Baked Apple Tart served with cinnamon ice cream, apple puree and vanilla cream
    ~ Raspberry and Drambuie Crème Brulee with berry compote and brandy snap biscuits

    I tried bits/peices today as the Chef is a mate at my work :)

    um, well the carnivores are going to have gammon, and then there will be quiche and different salads, and bread and cheese and stuff like that. I'm crap at knowing what to serve really, my mum is much better though and has a list!

    I do know that for pudding we are having scones, strawberries, cream (double and clotted), mini meringes and cups of tea :yum:
