Right.... lace knitting

Former MemberFormer Member Posts: 1,876,323 The Mix Honorary Guru
So I'm knitting these for my mum and they're supposed to be really quick but I started them on DPNs so the rib took forever...

Anyway, the increases are 2 stitches in every 4th row, but the lace pattern is a 4-stitch repeat so how do I stop the lace from going out of alignment with the increases? When I've done 2 increases (i.e. increased by 4 stitches) do I incorporate those into the pattern or not? Too complicated!
