mmm i had a chicken kiev for tea (diet has gone completely out of the window this weekend :rolleyes:) and when i was half way through eating it (i was too busy watching the tv), i noticed that the chicken wasn't fully white. it was kinda pink =/
it was cooked for 5 minutes longer than it should have been and it was hot all the way through.
will i be ok? im worried. as soon as i noticed it, i stopped eating it.

Yep. Thigh meat can be very pink, though thoroughly cooked. Have a look next time you cook a whole chicken. Also some breast meat can be dark, if it's been near the bone or blood vessels, after it's cooked.
apparently food poisoning can take up to 48 hours to appear though :nervous:
Gutted.
I ate half then got to the middle and suddenly it was raw and still fozen! Some was swallowed some spat out but I survived.
