    Not a desperately funny show though it has its moments. American Dad is much better.

    I don't think American Dad even comes close tbh. There are no intelligent or witty characters. It's just laughing at stupid characters acting stupidly. It's like Family Guy without Brian or Stewie, which means it far more one dimensional.

    American Dad is just not that funny.

    I think American Dad is up there with Family Guy. You sort of get sick with "like that time I did..." stuff with Family Guy, American Dad episodes actually have plots and what not. :D

    Yes. I think South Park had it spot on when they took the piss out of Family Guy.
