my opinion on this..... nah not a good idea
at school i really don't think i'd have the guts to just go and ask the nurse (plus it's more usful at college where there are no nurses there constantly.)

I hope it will. Emotion shouldn't be allowed to block the "right choice".

I approve of euthanasia, and as much as I hated my mothers passing I respect her choice. If the time comes for my other half, and it's still not legal, I hope I'll have the strength to hold the pillow instead of phoning an ambulance

While I'm not likely to become a father, I do take a "associate parenting" role. one of my "daughters" is a teen, and we've made it clear that we don't want her to be having sex, but we have also taken her to the doctors and given him permission to perscribe her the pill if she requests it. I've done the all about condoms bit.

The euthanasia bit came in because he was making an example of something which, though it can be right for some people, has lots of emotion associated with it which stops people seeing it objectively. Just like parents and their children and sex and contraception

Unforseen health risks. Well, you ever seen a girl on the normal pill? My gf when she started complained of painful periods and general pain in "that area" and aound her stomach. Imagine what the emergency pill which is 6 times more powerful can do! I doubt it can do any good, the human body was never made to have such high levels of artificially induced hormones racing around the body. The emergency pill is ok when taken every few months or so, but what Im afraid of is girls using at a substitute for proper contraception.

I'm sorry, but I would be apalled to find out that it was being used by people every few months! If it was used at this rate it wouldn't be a mistake or an accident, it would be downright stupidity.

I wonder if thre are any projected figures for frequency of personal use. Being the board's statistician, whowhere, I'll leave that to you to find out.

i have a friend who's taken it twice in the last year. to me thats still too many times! and it wasnt even an accident, it was her bastard of a boyfriend talking her into it, saying all this crap about how he'd pull out and it'd be ok. and now theres quite a big chance she could be pregnant as she didnt take the mornign after pill after she had sex with him on new years eve. find out the end of this week, i cant imagine shed have an abortion, shes quite religious and loves babies.

personally i believe people in a long term relationship should use another method of contraception than condoms, like the pill or IUD. JB, the pill makes my periods hell of a lot less painful, and lighter. and you can take 3 packs at once and reduce the number too. so i didnt have any probs with periods gettign worse. guess your gf is unlucky or on the wrong strength of pill maybe?

If you don't know where you're going, you'll probably end up somewhere else.
