more body for hair

How? I'm sort of digging that 60's ish look with some type of hairband and a bob but the back part of the hair, behind the hair band has body and volume.

My hair is thin and it just lays their flat against my head. Any tips on how to push it up a bit?

    volumising shampoo, blow drying with your head upside down, and dry from the crown out...layers might help, but long ones....

    you could always use really big rollers...

    I just want right behind the headband to have a bit of body. Not the rest of my head.
