    you could have a trim, but you can't have your hair cut so it will grow into a style...i do think it would work ok, just don't be too emo with it, make it look kinda "i just got out of bed"

    you did need it longer for that, and if you have it trimmed every 6 weeks it will grow faster.

    I can't see where your parting is in that pic, but you'll need a side parting and a choppy sweeping fringe.

    and a little wax, or something of the sort will be your friend.
