What can you see from a deleted facebook user?

Simple question:

If someone deletes their facebook account, can you still see their comments/posts on other peoples walls?

I want to know what it means when you see facebook users whose names are in black/grey and you can't click on them.

    It could just mean they have restricted their privacy settings.

    ok but if they did delete their account, will their posts still be seen greyed out, or will they just disappear completely?

    As far as im aare you can only disable your account.

    Im pretty sure it does grey out wall posts rather than removing them.
