I bought that when I was going thru an insomnia period.
It was relaxing and it tastes really good.

Hmm I was going to suggest alcholic beverages, but from the sensibility of the other posts I shall refrain. Probably best to avoid drinking booze to sleep regularly anyway!

apparently milk is good because it contains high levels of tryptophan, an amino acid that makes up part of the neurotransmitter serotonin, which regulates your sleep/wake cycle. other foods high in tryptophan are bread and cheese.

I do sometimes find hot milk can help me sleep, but it's not too reliable.

Doesn't milk go bad if it is warm/hot?

    Only after a while.

That was a dumb question, wasn't it. Meeehh, I've never even heard of a latte, no warm milk there. Not a milk drinker so milk on its own warm threw me for a loop right there!

Make sure you brush your teeth after drinking milk though. I saw a picture of a kid who'd been given milk before bed after he'd brushed his teeth, and they were rotten.

I find a nice beer makes me feel sleepy most of the time.

Green tea, hot chocolate and warm milk with honey (I hate plain milk) always help me to relax and eventually fall asleep. Then again so does a generous glass of Baileys. :yum:

If drinks don't work, having a hot water bottle or a relaxing lavender spray-thingy help too.
