Operation No.3 on Thursday

Well it's the biggy this time. I'm going into hospital tomorrow for bowel prep; and then my operation is Thursday afternoon.
I have two wombs and they're whipping one out because it's totally enclosed and causing a lot of problems (should leave me with one perfectly normal and fuctionable one, but inevitably I'm worried as they're attached to eachother).
Also I have sever adhesions sticking part of my bowel to the womb they're taking out... and it's caused it to start twisting so it's looking likely that some of that will have to come out too.
And just to add to the fun they've found endometriosis in my rectum... and if it's there, god knows where else it might be too.
I'm really rather worried as to what else they're going to find in there because they seem to discover something new every time I have an operation.
So some positive thoughts and general fingers-crossed-ness for me would be much apprechiated as I'm fairly anxious about this one.
I'll be in hosptial 4-7 days... I'm hoping for a quick recovery - but the nurse has informed me that I'm going to feel like I've been kicked really hard in the tummy. So it's looking like I'm going to have a fun few days/weeks to come!
Thats all really.

I've never had to stay in hospital but I imagine it can get pretty boring, have you got things to take with you to keep you amused?
Yeah I've got a couple of books to take, but to be honest I expect I'll be too distracted to be able to concentrate on them before my op... and after it, well I'll be totally out of it.
Just think after the op things should start to get better!
My mums been through a big op involving her ovarie/womb last week and it is scary but she's come out really well and her recovery is going smoothly, so try and think positive!
Hope it all goes alright xx
I am wishing you a speedy recovery!
