Paying the rent - which method

I couldn't set up a standing order for my rent, as I didn't have the money in my account until today. Now I need to transfer the money to my landlord, how should I do it? Online, or pay cash into his account? Or hand him the cash? Which would be safest?

    Just do it online. Easier and quicker that way.
