short tax return?

Im english, however i just discovered some polish workers at the same job as me recieve a short tax return through the post each year to fill out, stating the jobs they had, income recieved and tax paid.

They always get money sent back to them from the tax they paid, a few hundred quid normally, is it cos theyre polish and on differant tax rates, why havent i recieved one, and am i entitled to try and get money back from my tax :confused:

    I secind the asking tax aid. Do you work in constuction by any chance, because the rules for Constuction Idustry Scheme (CIS) are different to the normal PAYE rules. The polish guys would still be entitled to the same tax/NI rates as everyone else.
