Look at those strikers. Only two of them are actually good. Heskey is shit. Vassel aint exactly brilliant and sheringham is absolutely terrible. For england to do well in the world cup they need better strikers.

You may well say i am biased but i think Matt Jansen is as good if not better than most strikers that will be picked

If i was boss and everyone was available i'd take Owen, Heskey, Shearer, Fowler and Phillips - which Sven can't

i know he'll not be going but sven should have given him more than just that one chance. But maybe its as well he doesn't go cuz he needs an operation this summer.

Well before i continue i'd like to point out i've more affection for genital warts than the nevilles, however Gary is considerably better than Mills, not neccessarily on ability, but he's experienced (and were beginning to lack that) and more importantly he works brilliantly with Beckham and Scholes, they form a handy trio on the right hand side. In addition i worry about Mills's temprement and lack of experience, lets hope he rises to the occasion though <IMG SRC="smile.gif" border="0" ALT="icon"> the team will be weakened as a result though <IMG SRC="frown.gif" border="0" ALT="icon">

I agree that we will suffer experience wise and our defence will be weakened but I think Mills is better going forward, he is very fast and puts in good crosses......

If it comes down to a choice between Mills, Carragher and Phil Neville, it'sa got to be Carragher. OK so he's shit going forward and on the slow side, but he's as solid as it gets and works hard. He's also less likely to get sent off than that thug from Elland Road.
