Sunburn

Former MemberFormer Member Posts: 1,876,323 The Mix Honorary Guru
I was out last Wednesday and got REALLY bad sunburn from being in the sun all day. I've been putting Aloe Vera gel on it periodically ever since but today it's going to run out on me and I don't have any cash to buy any more. It's probably a silly question but would Oilatum lotion be ok to put on it instead? It's all I have and it's meant for eczema really but I'm guessing as my back is dry and peeling it'll help?

I would say that anything emoliant would be fine to use, try to avoid anything with alcohol in it and by the sounds of it the lotion you have at home should be alcohol free.

I can never remember how to spell it but Combadorum is by far and away the best thing for sunburn, hopefully some nice hippy will come along and tell you how its really spelt.
