From a quick browse on the inter aren't any decent oriental/asian food places in Chester at all! Nearest place mentioned was Liverpool.

isn't raman that cheap nasty shit? comes all crunchy in a bag, add water and voila... a meal that a staving homeless person wouldn't even eat.

Ramen just refers to a noodle dish, usually with fairly thin, soft noodles. Contrast with Udon, which are quite thick!

Sikorah: You wouldn't even necessarily have to go to china town; if there is any Asian neighbourhood with a supermarket you might be in luck. Where I live it is mostly people from Pakistan, but the international supermarket down the road stocks Indian, Chinese, Thai food, etc!

i just read about these ones and wanted to try it.

i dont think there is any places that sells any international foods like that, except for polish supermarket.

Actually, just found a japanese shop that sells then apparently.

ramen noodles are made from wheat and soda water.
