I'm Clueless...what's In Fashion?!

Can anybody tell me what kind of hair style is in fashion at the mo, or at least, what do you lot like?

At the mo I have a semi- fringe type thing that I grow then layer down a bit, and my hair at the back is kind of layered, but growing out. Should I just continue with what i have ? Seriously, i'm clueless when it comes to this type of thing.
(i am a woman by the way- some people on here think i am not because of the 'nutter' name. lol)

    no pic, but yes good point.

    ..but i'm still none the wiser about this. i have thick hair, brunette, just past the shoulders..can't believe i'm 20 and going a little grey already. *sigh*

    i think it shouldnt be about fashion - as fashion can be out sooner then you can imagine.. just look through magazines etc and see what you like?
