    It's not from Livingstone - but given what voting has changed 'they' seem particularly unconcerned about doing anything about (plus who are the 'establishment'

    "Politicians don't listen" - the speaker is on an ego trip and means "Politicians don't listen to me specifically ". Normally said after they've suggested some hair brained idea which went out of fashion with Stalin and which if agreed with by said politician would see his vote plumment to one person (two if he votes for himself)
