Hey guys,
Sorry to bring up this question but i couldn't find a similar one when i searched.
Basically my gf is on the combined pill (microgynon) and has been taking it regularly. This week (starting yesterday) is her week off. As of yet her period hasn't started (usually comes on a friday evening like clockwork since she started pill). Will she still be protected if we do sexual things (maybe even have sex) this week?

Yes your girlfriend will be protected every day of the month even when she is on her pill free week, as long as she takes it regularly and doesn't skip any pills.
The FPA has a good factsheet which answers this very question...
