I went to my first ever "bingo night" last night and i won £40!! :hyper:
all my mates were well annoyed cuz i kept getting lines and they didnt
then we went into the casino next door and i won £20 playing blackjack! my lucky night methinks

pity i didnt win the £1000 quid jackpot tho. ah well, maybe next time!!

I love bingo - i used to go quite a bit with my friend when i was a wee bit younger - it was great - i'm not so sure i would enjoy it that much now you can't smoke though - that seemed to be half the point of it.

We would get really in with the grannies and all wear wolly hats - i miss those days....

Worked there for 2 years, job did my nut in but I loved the banter. Used to get recognised by old women in the street and everything.

Only ever been once and won £250 on the jackpot game, score! :thumb:

ahh the smoking ban hasnt come in on the isle of man yet. got a week and a half left before it does!

dont know how most of my mates are going to cope tbh!! the bingo hall last night was so busy and smoky last night - gonna be a bit of change when the ban starts!

I love bingo, not been for ages though!
I've only ever won a tenner :crying: . My mum won £500 on the boards link-up, she kindly gave me some though we kept it a secret from my dad and sisters . My nan always wins when she goes, the biggest she has won at once times was £4000!

A few bingo places closed down literally a week after the smoking ban, I'm pretty sure it was linked to it too.
The Gala where we go isn't half as busy as it used to be since the ban :no:

Oh god, don't remind me. All I get asked come Wednesdays at work is "where are they holding the bingo tonight?". Mind you, my grandma's been playing for years. She won £200 a few weeks ago on it.

i do like bingo, but im so unlucky, ive only won one time and it was £15, which i had to split cos 3 people won the line! how crap.

i've been with my nana a few times and twice with my friends but i dont bother these days, its so expensive! i ended up spending about £22 last time i was there, thats a night out in town, haha.
