Antibiotics

I have antibiotics coz I got the lurgy. The instructions say I have to take one four times a day on an empty stomach, three hours after and one hour before eating. When the hell do I get to eat?

    right here is Ms Katralla's intinery:

    9am - take one
    9.15 - have breakfast
    12.15 - take one
    1.15 - have lunch
    4.15 - take one
    5.15 - have tea
    8.15 - have one
    9.15 - have a biscuit

    aha, good tip, thank you. This is the third time I've been on antibiotics this year, got thrush for the first time in years last time, was nastier than I remembered.

    I had some anti-biotics that I had to take twice a day two hours after food and one hour before food and I thought that was bad!

    Poor you, I hate not being able to eat what I want when I want to.

    im on 1 four times a day at the minute too but only have to make sure i take it on an empty stomach an hour before food. i keep forgetting though. I didnt even get up til 11.30am so took 1 then. just had another now or ill forget to take one til its too late. tis a right pain. im only preventing an infection though anyway.
    just out of interest. which antibiotic is it??

    phenoxymethylpenicillin 250mg. I have tonsilitus :( don't feel like eating anyway so...

    Penecillin, never known it to need 3 hours after food before.

    OMG, I felt fine a couple of hours ago, now I feel like crying again, my neck is stiff to fuck and I can barely swallow. I was feeling completely normal a bit ago though- this is so weird. Oh woe is me!
