The last one was in Dudley in September. They havent announced this one yet :)

PS: Wouldn't recommend a sixth floor flat to go through it!

2 mins to one and i'm driving along the North Wales expressway listening to Janice Long when she says the whole studio shook and rumbled.
Then the news came on ...nothing mentioned.
Janice comes back on saying she has had hundreds of emails in the two mins the news was on about houses shaking right across the land!
Here in North Wales ...i didn't feel a thing ...how boring.

I Live approximately 10 mile from the epicentre - wow - what a surreal experience. My dog went ballistic and the whole house shook, the windows rattled as did the letter box. Will check outside in the morning for damage. Was very scared at first but now feel that it is somewhat exciting. Hope no-one has been hurt.

God knows what it was like 10 miles away, very very scary here 60ish miles away, thought the block of flats were coming down.

Lol I was in a club at the time, felt it shake and saw the shandeliers shake but you don't know whether to put it down to really loud music or people stomping their feet or what. Was quite big from what I remember tho. Ah well... another day, another random but forgettable event. I hope nobody was hurt from the likes of falling rooftiles.

lol, do you not get earthquakes there often?

Earthquakes up there, strange things are happening!

Over here normally it's unusual if there's 3 in one year, and in the last 2-3 months there have been at least 5... It can't be normal.

    Well it woke me up...

I heard (what sounded like) a big bang, and then I looked across my room and thought my sister was banging the wall inbetween our rooms with her fists as it was shaking and making a lot of noise (it's a flimsy wall which wasn't originally there).
I shot out of bed and went into my sister's room just as she got up and put her light on...and I said 'What was that!' (I was shaking and my heart was beating really fast cos of having been woken so quickly).
Anyway, she thought she'd woken me up by turning her light on... and she said she'd had a dream that the cats were fighting which woke her up and she thought they were in her room so switched her light on and was very confused cos they were nowhere to be seen.
I asked her if she'd been banging the wall but she didn't know cos she was sleepy.
And then we both looked round because we could hear something knocking on her shelf and she said 'what's that noise' and then I said 'it's something shaking on your bookcase... maybe we've had an earthquake!'

Then we both went back to bed. And I was woken up early this morning by my mum excitedly shouting downstairs that there'd been an earthquake in the night. :yeees:
She slept through the whole thing.

(Oh, turned out a picture frame had fallen on my shelf in my room and all my CDs had slid over).
