As for low cal chocolate bars, obviously go for smaller ones. Milky way, a finger of fudge, a freddo bar, a curly wurly, a single finger twirl. Theyve all got around 100-120 cals max.
A cadburys creme egg has 175 cals so thats not particularly high.
double decker - 240
fruit and nut 240
whole nut - 270
bounty 260
Have you had them? They aint all that nice
Flytes I think are supposed to be good for you.
Not sure if light = healthy.
200 calories or summit mmmm
Fruit & nut bars aren't low calorie though. If you want something low calorie go for a milky way or an aero fun size bar. I eat one of these with an options hot choc for a quick sugar craving fix for under 150 calories.
Im a sucker for a fruit& nut bar though and i can easily chomp away a
200g bar in one sitting.
Mars Planets (yummy yummy) 180cals
Creme Egg 170ish cals
Galaxy 220ish cals
Dime bar 150
Kit kat (2finger) 109cals
Kik kat dark (4 finger) 220ish
Fudge is about 100cals
Aero bubbles-not quite sure but about 200 ish i would imagine
Dairy Milk (the thin one) is about 100cals.
Tell ya else hits a chocolate craving-Alpen light chocolate and orange cereal bars- 60cals and very yum.
Avoid Twix and Bounty, really high for what it is.
MMmm chocolate.
Yes. I like to count fruit and nut bars towards my 5 a day personally :thumb:
a girl after my own heart!
If you're going to have chocolate go the full hog, buy the best quality dark chocolate you can and do something with it, like your own mousse or a tart, rather than the shop bought stuff that's often quite stale and doesn't contain a high enough quantity of cocoa solids. As SCC said, calories aren't always the marker of good health, a person can eat nothing but lard and claim to be 'healthy' because they're eating fewer calories going in than coming out.
Lindt is nice . Although I don't really eat chocolate anyway, it's not my favourite of things at all.
Question: is caramac chocolate or not? cos if not then I'm going to eaaaat it!
Gold bars are not nestlé theyre mcvities, so therefore a biscuit rather than chocolate yet they taste very similar to caramac, but without the dead baby aftertaste :thumb:
Caramac - chocolate or candy? The great debate
I guess I'm back to sneaking hot chocolate powder out of the tin to feed my chocolate craving, as I'm SURE that it doesn't count as real chocolate!
I've just switched to dark chocolate, it's much more satisfying so I only eat a square or two instead of a whole bar.
Cadburys is my favourite.
Crunchies.
Yummy.
Cadburys cadburys cadburys.
I always thought it was chocolate.
The only chocolate I like is from Hotel Chocolat.
If you want dark chocolate, try Green & Black's Maya Gold.
