Encoding wav to mp3?

Hey,
I need to encode some Wav's to mp3 ... I also need some not sypware/good software for this. Google as usuall, turns up £20 software and spyware infested crap (as well as the inevitable non-working software content).

Someone. Help. Please.

there's software that comes with Nero that can do that, maybe you have that?

For compressing to MP3, I have been faithful to the MPEG Suite for 8 years.

For ripping, I use Nero Express. Just click on "More" at the bottom, then "Save Tracks"
