Game won't load

I bought my first PC game and I installed it etc etc, but it won't start. It gets to the point of you starting to play - past the intro vid etc and this pops up: (see Eragon0)


Then when it finally closes down with an error report etc, my screen goes all like this, with giant toolbar and icons. (see Eragon1)


I've restarted several times and tried it over and over and it just does the same thing.


Help? :crying:

I'd suggest updating the drivers for your graphics card

It depends on what sort of computer and/or graphics card you have.

Okay I found that I have a Mobile Intel(R) 945GM Express Chip Family.


Does it cost anything to update this and any idea how to? Do I need to buy it from a comp store or is it just a download?

Definitely just a download, but I don't know about Intel cards. Search the Intel website.

Ok so you most likely have a laptop. In which case you should try to download the relevant files from your laptop's manufacturer's web site.
