So I want hair like this but don't know what to ask for plus it has to be longer at the sides. And how is it held in place? Brining in this pic isn't an option either as my printer MELTED!

    It's held in place with a lot of hairspray!!
    Are you any good at drawing cos maybe you could take that in?!
    Have you checked on hairstyle websites for pictures and maybe even a name for this cut?

    Does your hairdresser have the internet?? You could show them online or get them to look before you go. I agree it's probably got masses of hair spray to hold it in place.

    just looks like a comb over to me

    as though she has layers on that side, put it in a side part and pulled them over to the other side n sprayed in place
