Mine is cheap if you buy frozen summer fruits/raspberries. And SOOOOOOO yummy. You need to defrost the fruit for a bit though if you're using frozen else they don't mush.

I've never tried frozen fruit. Is it just as nice as fresh fruit?
Yup, if you defrost it. Big bags of frozen fruit are much cheaper than fresh fruit, even though it was probably fresher when it was frozen than the fresh fruit you'd buy in the supermarket.

mangos are on offer in asda atm 90p.
Also Aldi has alot of fruit on offer such as pinapple and grapes at 59p each.

As for smoothies I just put in what ever fruit i have, some juice and hope it tastes nice. Although mango, strawberry and kiwi is nice with some natural yoghurt and honey mixed in.

I like strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, half a banana and some apple juice. If I'm feeling low on protein I whack in a tablespoon of cottage cheese (don't cringe, it's actually lovely blended in!).

Frozen fruit is great to use in smoothies, especially in summer when you want something nice and cold
