Step Up is a BBC mentoring project which works in collaboration with BBC London and aims to give people access to and experience within the broadcasting industry.
Following the success of last year’s project they have 30 places to offer on this year’s scheme. The project is open to anyone who lives in the London area and is keen to gain an insight into Radio, Online or Television production. The scheme involves 10 weekly workshops and a fulltime production fortnight from 23rd June to 4th July 2008. Each participant will also be given a BBC staff mentor for the duration of the project to advise and guide them.

The online application forms are now live and the deadline is midnight on the 20th February 2008. If successful, you will be contacted and asked to attend an interview expected to take place from week beginning 10th March 2008.
