I'm thinking about going to the University of Birmingham, it's had some really good reviews and the course I want to take seems pretty interesting.
Does anyone go here, or know wat it's like? The accommodation, the people etc. However, as I don't live in the UK, I have no idea wat the accent in Birmingham is like, but I've heard it's really bad! Is this true? I don't mind strong accents, I find some quite sexy actually, I was just curious.
The accent part has nothing to do with me going to Uni there though, as I'd go there if I didn't like the accent anyways. Just wanted to know what you thought...

It's quite a middle class uni to be honest, with high entry requirements. If you want to know anymore (although I don't actually go to the uni) just ask! <IMG SRC="smile.gif" border="0" ALT="icon"> Hope that helps.
I nearly went their myself, it has its own train station!
I go there and I've got to say - fantastic uni Just try and make sure you're on the vale in your first year - you'll have more fun that way. Absolutely brilliant city - halfway through being rebuilt at the minute too with the new bullring etc, etc.
So, yes, I'm a fan
What course are you planning on doing?
