Microgynon 30 side effects

Former MemberFormer Member Posts: 1,876,323 The Mix Honorary Guru
I have been feeling nauseous and have had a severe drop in appetite since I started this pill about a week ago. My doctor said I might experience weight GAIN, not loss. Are these symptoms normal for this pill, or might i still just be suffering from the flu?

Have you read the leaflet that comes with it? It should say the side effects on that.
    Weight gain is common.

Hey. I wouldn't worry too much at the moment as your body will be adjusting to the tablet. See how it settles down but if the weight loss carries on then if you're worried then make another appointment to see your doctor and to have a chat to them about your worries. To be honest people react differently especially when they first start taking the pill but just keep an eye on how you feel as the feeling sick/weight loss obviously isn't a good thing and you don't want to carry on too long like that.
