Resolutions

Anybody make any fun resolutions this year.
I wish I was more inventive. I'm trying to give up the smokes, tabs, fags, cancer sticks all at the same time.
Going succesfully but not enjoyably.

quitting smoking is a hard task. you don't want to bombard yourself with loads of resolutions or else you'll set yourself up to fail. good luck to 'ya :)

Somtimes I claim I believe in the Pagan New Year 21st of December to try and ignore any planned resolutions.

Well I start mine once I've finished my papers...

Gonna quit smoking at the end of the month because I want to and I'd like to get physically fitter.

New years resolutions can be really difficult to keep if you aim to high. The people who usually keep their resolutions are the ones who make realistic and attainable goals. Check out this article for some more tips how to keep your resolutions.

My New Years resolution is to learn how to play the guitar. So far i've bought a guitar and looked at it a few times :( .

Well goodluck with the guitar. It does make sense to go for the attainable projects but it's hard not to live in hope. Also that hope is the will power that can pull you through. I just hope it is attainable.
I've been playing this game to woo away my smokeless blues.

    I made three resolutions:

    1. Be alive for the next one
    2. Do more stuff (procrastinate less)
    3. Go on holiday with my best mate

    :)

It is crazy how procrastination can be such an issue to resolve.
The only problem is that you aer then over reactive to too many situations.
Resolutions of the mind are much harder than physical ones like smoking.

I've quit smoking as well and its driving me fucking loopy! I have no money because we got paid early before Xmas as well so that combined with the gloomy weather and no fags is making me a right grumpy bastard.

I'm hoping it will get easier after the first month!

Its nice to exercise the old will power though.

I do also find that if the weather was better then I'd be more influenced to exercise. That said if the weather was better I'd be hanging out in the beer garden and a lot more likely to smoke.
