Storing necklaces+earrings

ok, so at the moment ive got about 8 hooks in my wall for my necklaces+about 6 for my earrings, BUT can anyone else give me ideas for storing jewerelly (sp). since im moving soon and the new landlord doesnt particularly want me screwing hooks into the wall! So, any ideas....i have ALOT of earrings+necklaces, and they'de get tangled up in a box, i really want to hang them!

I put my necklaces and bracelets on a mug tree. You can get one dead cheap from those shifty kitchenware type shops

Get a corkboard and cover it in material (optional). Stick a load of pins along the top and then you can hang your jewellery off it

If you can't stick it on the wall then just prop it up on a dressing table or something

oo, thats clever. il have to buy some wooden coat hangers+hammer some things thru from the other side+bend the ends up,so my necklaces dont fall off!!!

i have a mannequin thing with a metal bar through the shoulders, and i drape all my necklaces over it. i think you can get them in garden centres, or somewhere like au naturale.

I throw them in a drawer/floor/table and lose them all. :thumb:

I have a mannaquin thing as well...really handy but it still doesn't fit all my necklaces on!

I have this exact one but I have to hang like 5 necklaces on each hook because I have so many. Might buy another one. You can easily get earing stands too for a dressing table.

by the way these sort of stands seem to be everywhere at the moment, BHS had some in the sale last time I went in?

You get a metal coat hanger and put an old stocking over it. and just sew up/tie up the ends. its easy for hanging earings and you can just hang necklaces over the coat hanger bit

paperchase have these metal hand sculptures that are good for watches, rings and big hoop earrings. i got one for christmas. if i remember correctly they come in gold, silver, and possibly black.
