Hello, anyone good with economics who can help me with this problem.
The TC function for commuting is Q + Q(Q-1)
The Inverse Demand Curve is P = 8 – Q
The External Cost Created by Driving is 2Q(Q – 1)
b—please calculate the unregulated quantity and price.
c—Please calculate the regulated quantity and price.
d— If the External Cost was passed along to the remaining drivers, how much of a subsidy would each remaining driver pay and how much would each former driver receive?
e—What is the Deadweight Loss in this example?
