What shape is my face?

Former MemberFormer Member Posts: 1,876,323 The Mix Honorary Guru
I want a haircut. I'm thinking short. Not short short, but relatively short. Maybe a Jenna Jamison style? http://graphics.boston.com/bonzai-fba/Third_Party_Photo/2007/03/20/1174394468_0473.jpg I was shown it and I like the style. But probably not that short in the back. But since it would be so drastic I'm trying to think what would suit my face but I'm reading all these things and I can't figure out what shape my face is and in turn, what would suit it. Idears?

Now that I look in the picture it looks a bit horsefacey, it doesn't look like that in the mirror :chin:

Looking at the picture I'd say you've got a squareish face, though I'm not the best at telling from pictures....

Best advice I have to work out your face shape is to get some lipstick/eyeliner etc, and draw around your face in a mirror and then try to match it to a shape. Face shapes tend to be divided into round, oval, square or heart shapes to narrow it down.

As for the hair style... I have no idea how hairstyles suiting face shapes work, so all in all I'm very little help, but I like the style :)

I think square. You have good bone structure so I think a short style would really suit you :)

squoval from me too, anglualr but elongated, with mid (normal) forehea. Should suit any style. Me likey that JJ hairstyle and think it would definitely suit. I know you like to wear your hair up so why not ask your hairdresser if they can do that slanty bob but with a less steep angle so it's still long enough at the back to wear up. Def thing it will suit. Go for it!
