"Lounge Suit- what does it mean?!"

Hiya,

I'm going to a celebration lunch for my boyfriend's work thing- he initially told me the dress code was 'business suits' but i've since seen the invitation and it says 'Lounge Suits'. What does that mean for girls? There is a Posh evening 'do' later on, so I don't think it's evening dresses, but have no idea what to wear!!

I hate that feeling of not knowing what everyone else is goning to wear and the worry about wearing the wrong thing!!:chin:

lounge suit is basically a way of saying normal suit, usually pants, jacket, shirt and tie. so business suit is the same thing.

women will be smart dress, maybe a cocktail dress style afair follwed by a gown for the evening do. dinner suit for the men

rather than having a dress change, you should get a three quarter length dress which is dressy but not over the top.

I shall find something to show you what I mean...
