i hate seeing snobby people every day.

i hate seeing unprofessional teachers flirt with students.

i hate being in the shadow of "miss perfect"

i hate that people don't know me, or understand me.

i hate it that bad boy rob (my ex) is still there when i thought the bastard was moving to another college.

i hate it that he's in the college band that i used to be in.

i hate the fact that andy got 3 A's when he doesn't deserve it, and when he was so horrible to me.

i hate it that i was one mark off an A for english AS.

i hate worrying about my UCAS application.

i hate it that i have persistently asked for advice on my UCAS application and no-one wants to help me, and when it's crap they will moan.

i hate key skills - i failed two out of three of my exams.

i hate the fact that everyone thinks im thick compared to "miss perfect"

i hate it when i go in at 9 am when college doesnt start until 11.30 which no-one told me.

i hate it when i finally make it into college they tell me that we have photographs and i look like shit because i only got back from holiday yesterday.

i hate the fact that mel is leaving.

i hate being unable to speak in lessons even though i want to.

me too...

i hate sixth form.
i hate being called "goth" by loads of 11 year old kids.
i hate key skills they are pointless and they suck.
i hate being told that i should go to university when i don't give a fuck about it and i don't want to go.
i hate when they play usher on the stereo.
i hate having to walk a mile and a half in metal boots which are really heavy.

i hate having to overheat in long sleeve T shirts.

I love the cookies sold in our college canteen.

Ya got to look for the good things. Of course this is easy for me to say, as I'm still on holiday...

i have to agree with one of thos ethings in particular. keyskills, i do not see the point in these at all. at our college no one even turns up for these lessons. if the exams are failed though we fail the course, which is the stupidest thing ive ever heard! y?!?!?

least i no it aint just me and my mates that it pisses off.

Key skills is really bad. I mean, ok maybe in year 11 or something when some people will leave without even getting gcses, but when you *have* your GCSEs; are already perfectly competent with communication and whatever the crap is, and when you *have* a full (FULL I TELL YOU) timetable, and are expected to do well... what is the point?

I mean, i'm pretty pissed off about my GCSEs, part of that was the fact I did fuck all work. I really want to work and sort of deserve my ASs and A2s or whatever which maybe involves doing some research and having some time to go to the library or home to work. I have to be there at 9 every morning and leave about 4 and have no frees so everything like that happens in my lunch hour. BLEH. I have to go to tutorials to do key skills all the time!!!!!!!!!!!


AND i started today. hah.

Key Skills are PANTS!
I did a GNVQ last year and all the lecturers went on about the whole time was key skills. You must do this, make sure you log that etc.
At the end of the day (for people doing the new 'Vocational A Level' - not sure about AS levels though) the key skills do have to be done sure, but don't take them too seriously because at the end of the day they ain't that important. And thats what my course supervisor said to me when I started stressing about my incomplete ones! When I first started college I found it hard to fit in. Nobody knew me or understood me and there were people who bullied me back in my old scholl attending there. It was annoying because I was trying to leave my past behind.
I couldn't be arsed with my key skills, but I gotta do them this yr for some sad reason.
I got told off for playing my music in the common room.
There was alwas the temptaion of drugs/drink/skipping lectures.

I'm doin fine this year (although my biology teacher keeps on flirting with this nasty girl I used to work with). It'll be ok, I didn't fit in for ages, but now I've got lotsof friends and i enjoy it.

Yikes, A lot of you ppl are "the glass is half empty". U gotta look on the bright sides. And I don't know how u can get called a goth cos We have to wear "Smart" dress I.E shirts and trousers and shoes which is killing me cos i'm a baggy casual sk8er type! AAAAAAAHHHHH

U would love my college then, we don't have a dress code @ all. Hardly ne1 dresses up wearing shoes & shirts etc. Most ppl wear trainers & jeans etc.

hmm. well say i wear my black baggy jeans. my boots. my black make up. my spiky bag. a top saying "vote satan". i think the fact that they shout at me is fair anough, it just pisses me off to the max. so the other day i turned around to this little kid who was taking the piss (and also bullying me cousin), and let out a huge, corey style roar into his face. he totally shit himself and ran off. i know its mean, but he hasnt bothered me or touched my cousin since. lol, that has to be the ONLY highlight of school so far. i'm sad.
