anyone know where i can get them from, for free? for a nokia 3210. without having to ring those damn premium rate lines i keep seeing advertised!

i know someone with this site with a midi file of green day - basket case which i wouldnt mind trying as a ring tone. typically, i cant find the midi anywhere on the page so i cant save it and get it converted :rolleyes: :rolleyes:
www.yourmobile.com used to be quite good i thought, but the last time i tried to use it it was shite and wouldnt load in properly, so i gave up. is boltblue any good?

boltblue USED to be great, until they decided to use a premium rate number as well. wankers.

i've got a swiss site...www.diax.ch, but u gotta do a bit of searching b4 u find the ringtones. and i'm not sure if u can get them anyways, if ur not connected with diAx. we'll see <IMG alt="image" SRC="http://www.thesite.org/ubb/smile.gif"&gt;

I use Yourmobile.com and IOBOX.com
Yourmobile.com is good but only lets u download one ringtone every 24 hours. IOBOX is good because it has a larger range but you only get 30 credits then you have to use your credit card and pay for more.
Use Yourmobile, cos if you have a 3210 you can only store 1 ringtone anyway.

I think Boltblue logos are free but u pay for ringtones. Your Mobile is the only free one I know of.:-) I hate ringtones too, when you're on the bus and some stupid novelty ringtone starts playing, and everyone on the bus dives for theire phones even if its not their ringtone, and whoever is blessed with the call shouts into the phone 'IM ON THE BUS' - I dont swith my phone on anymore cos I've been getting really weird phone calls from this horrible guy - I've told him where to go but he is phoning me 24/7 and its driving me mad! Anyone have any ideas how I can get im to stop? xxx

get caller ID or pretend you're an answering machine and screen your calls. hang up on him instantly every time he calls (he'll give up eventually)...

if you don't mind telling us, why is he calling you and why don't you want him to?

LOL I know, when I'm serving a customer and their phone rings, they always go "I'm in Smiths", really irritates me for some reason!

I don't know where you can get free ones from but you can get loads of ones that you type in from http://www.e-tones.co.uk it might not have the - in it <IMG alt="image" SRC="http://www.thesite.org/ubb/smile.gif"&gt;

Wildchild - I take it you work in Smiths then?! thanx 4 the advice people, its a long story but if you've got all day...the guy sent me a text message meant for some1 else which came to the wrong number, mine. I texted back telling him it was the wrong number, and the next day he phoned for no reason and tarted telling me his life story. That was about 2 weeks ago and since then he has phoned me 24/7 and sent me loads of strange text messages, hes scaring me now!!!

i downloaded 'a little respect' by erasure a couple of months ago and thought 'yeah baby, i'm biggin it up in the 80s again' and now wheatus have blown that one away for me! <IMG alt="image" SRC="http://www.thesite.org/ubb/smile.gif"&gt;

oh well. anyway, i can compose my own tones and make my own start up graphics and operator logos and can send them to anyone's phone from my laptop through sms with some funky software.

maybe i should setup a little money making scheme! nah, aint got time.

sorry anyways, dont know any good free sites.

well ive still not found a ringtone that dont charge shitloads to phone up... havent had chance to look at the links froom today tho coz ive beewn out and my parents wouldnt like if it i start testing ringtones at 4am, thanks all, ill have a look tomorrow! <IMG alt="image" SRC="http://www.thesite.org/ubb/smile.gif"&gt;

but i have discovered you can get free logos from boltblue, so i got an ickle scorpio sign now. i did have a cool shooting star on my old 5110, but then i had a datacable and software that actually WORKED and didnt demand money (tried generating a crack for it but it STILL wouldnt work, grrrr). ah well, im sure i'll find something someday..

log onto tagtag.com and use the search, finds a lot of crap but also a lot of good sites for tones :thumb:

www.web2txt.co.uk is good. You only pay £1.50 and there's no subscription crap like you see with every site advertised on TV.
