Another new baby thread!

Thought I would let you all know that my daughter, Amelie Willow, arrived on the 26th September weighing in at a healthy 8lb 2oz. Not bad considering she was 10 days early. Labour lasted 1h 40 mins and was really painful and intense. No time for anything more hardcore than gas and air but at least that meant I got to go home 3 hours later! She is a lovely baby with loads of beautiful dark hair. Me, Mr Jooly and Master Jooly are all delighted with her :)

    Damn, I thought thta our two hours was fast - Bet mr Jool fractured a few speeding laws getting you to the maternity unit.

    Random hijack, my 'labour' (mum went into labour earlier but they tell you not to bother coming in until such and such a point?) lasted about 50 minutes, I was actually born in the car in the hospital car park whilst the nurses ran out :D

    Such a gorgeous baby and a lovely name :). Hope Mr Jooly is letting you get a good rest after your sprint, though I imagine part of you wants to stay awake to be with Amelie =).

    Now I'm really beginning to get jealous.

    I suppose it is the time for babies, though. And we now know how you were keeping warm in those long winter nights ;)

    One of my neighbours had a baby boy the same day as me and a close friend had her daughter a week after me...it must have been a really bad night on telly!! :blush:
