Introducing my little one

Sorry I know this isn't really the appropriate category but wasn't sure where to post.

For those that were following me trying to conceive I wanted to announce the arrival of our little one!

I had our little girl, Alex on Saturday (13.10.07) at 01.44am. She weighed 6.6lb and has lovely brown hair.

Labour wasn't all that bad...I'd do it all over again now if I really really had to! lol
Won't go into too much detail and bore you all but as they say they don't class you as in labour until 7cm (I think?) I'd guess I was in labour for roughly 4hrs which is good going apparantly. Had gas and air followed by pethadine - neither of which seem to make any difference in pain!

    Im so pleased you had a good birth, I agree with you that half of those painkillers they offer dont make much diff anyway, you just have to get on with it.
    Alex is a lovely name!!

    Sorry your midwives didnt help you get her latched on, theyre pains for that with all their mixed messages saying one thing, but when you want some support its not there, but you just do whatever is right for you hun!! Shes gorgeous and you must be proud!!
