Even though I'm a southener, I'd be up for it as long as I can get any time of work if needed and can get cheap flights/train tickets.

I need to go further north then London for a change!

Train tickets will only be cheap if you book them weeks in advance.

I'd be up for it. I've always wanted to go to Newcastle and have plenty of free time at the mo.

I have leave at the end of next month so will prolly spend most of my time back at home..

    26th-3rdNovember :)

unless you're thinking of doing it sooner then it'll have to be this sunday because I'm busy in between those two times :p
Does that mean you're working on November 4th? Boooo.

Rich is over on that weekend, but James wants it on a Sunday.

    Errrrm *thinks*.

How 'bout October 28th? I can try and convince Rich to maybe come up that weekend too.

Is everyone else ok with the 28th? Marie - you should be able to get cheap-ish tickets for that weekend.

Sunday is better for the trains as the last Soutbound on a Saturday night to London is about half 6 compared to half 8 on Sunday.

    :D

Cheapish is okay. Should be okay but I dont know until Monday if I can have the time off work or not the day after. Otherwise I'd have to leave fairly early to get back (coz its roughly five and a hours on the train)

Depends really. You could get the morning train (there's one at 6, I believe) but I dunno what time you would get back to where you live.

Where would you be coming from?`

would love to, because i'd really like to hear some geordie voices (muy sexy :p )

though ever saturday for the next 6 weeks is taken up with uni open dates, visits up to norwich, and going to erotica exhibitions, so i don't think i'm going to be able, or be able to afford to unless i could find a newcastle uni that has something vaguely related to music tech/sound engineering...

I'll just have to go to the purple turtle and hang around the cloakroom...hmmmm

It's also not as cheap as the train afaik. So long as you book the train in advance.

I think most train companies also do deals if you have 3 or 4 people going on the train together
