Unlocking Phones

Okay i've orderd myself a Sony Ericsson W880i :love: And its locked to Orange.

Now how would i get it to work with all the other networks i think you ring them and they charge you and do what ever

    I had my first Orange phone unlocked at an Orange shop back in 2003 and I paid £10 for it.

    I think that most phones can be unlocked using PC/Mac software via a data cable. Be careful when searching though - I believe that unlocking tools are in the same category as 'warez' and 'pr0n' as they both attract virii and spyware.

    Ah so i can go to my local orange shop and they should do it?

    I'm not sure wether you have heard of "davinciteam" But they do Unbranding and Unlocking.

    I've been doing some serious reading and personaly i might go for the unbranding and re brand it to a 3G / Three Brand but i'm abit unsure

    But if i do that, and then unbrand it and update it that will nock out the Unlock becuase it makes changes to the firmware which im changing:)
