fast food outlets near liverpool airport

Hi there! driving down from liverpool for flight to NY. we wanted to buy some sandwiches near the airport from a recognised fast food outlet eg subway etc. If we are driving from the north from junction 21 and eventually down speke road are there any outlets around. I know there is restuarants etc in the airport but from experience they are usually very expensive and a limited choice. Any help appreciated.
