    They've brought all the old writers together for the film so that can only be a good thing. Simpsons have been shite since season 10.

    So far it's got very good reviews from the press actually.

    I guess it'll boil down to this: if you like the Simpsons, you'll love it. If you don't, you won't. Pretty much what happened with South Park the movie.

    Just got back from watching it :) was alot better than i thought it could've been!.

    Everyone was singing spider pig on the way out :). Heh.

    Meh, It was okay. Some good "in "jokes but otherwise just a run of the mill Simpsons episode IMHO

    ETA: The opening gag about paying for something at the Cinema which you could watch for free on TV at home had me laughing though.

    Not least because I was watching a pirate DVD :)

    Aye, I was watching it on my laptop, gave me one of the biggest chuckles of the movie actually.

    I thought it was quite good.

    I was REALLY disappointed with this movie.

    There were a few funny moments, but on the whole, I was bored. Few people in the screening I went to even seemed to be laughing!

    Gutted really as I was hoping for good things...

    It was nothing special sadly. Was just a long episode. Woulda felt a bit ripped off paying for it.
