I've just found a lump on my dogs back. She's just turned 7. I'm a bit worried because one of our other dogs had cancer and had to be put down for it. Just looking for any reassurance because i'm really worried.

We're going to, but until then...
Usually they are soft to the touch, sometimes moveable, and are generally painless.
Oh dear.
My little baby had to be put down today. She became ill 2 weeks ago but got better a few days ago, woke up today and she'd had a fit
I'm in pieces.
Go straight away, preying your doggy is ok.
Ah Vicky, I'm so sorry. I was a state when Sam was put down. Still get very tearful thinking about him, and he died back in March :crying: I'm really sorry sweetheart *hugs*
aaw
Oh Vicky that's horrible
*many hugs for you*
Ballerina I'm sure things will be fine.
Mesha was only 6. she had a scan today and she was riddled with vicious tumours, putting her to sleep was the only thing we could do.
I've lost 3 dogs in 2 yrs now. We always say never again! But we always seem to home rescue dogs because people know we care.
My phone's broke too with all the photos of her
Sorry Ballerina, like someone else said, dogs have lumps and bumps all over the place. Mine always have.
