Burning sensation?

During sex yesterday I found I had a burning feeling around my clit, similar to the feeling you get after peeing when you have cystitis.

I don't think I have cystitis as today I haven't had any problems, so I'm a little concerned it might be an STI. However, I've been with my boyfriend for 5 months and haven't slept with anyone else (neither has he).... Could it be a dormant STI that's just shown up?

Anyone else had this feeling and know what it is?

    Could it just be friction?

Friction in that area is usually a bit of a different sensation.....

Well yeah, was well aware of that.

If it was just a one off thing though it could be down to uncomfortable friction if things weren't as moist as they could have been though.

sometimes if you're having quite hard rough sex it can be abit painful afterwards as everything's abit swollen. if you're that worried get checked out. at least if you have something you can try get rid of it, and if you don't then good, you can relax.
